Some more COVID-19 cases were logged across Midwestern Ontario today.
Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health is reporting 54 new cases, with 21 of those in Wellington County. There are 127 active cases in Wellington, and so far 47 people have died as a result of contracting the virus. Outbreaks continue at Caressant Care Harriston and Royal Terrace in Palmerston.
Huron-Perth Public Health is reporting 31 new cases today, with 4 people in hospital with the virus. So far 91 people have died in Huron-Perth from contracting COVID-19. Outbreaks continue at Clinton Public Hospital, South Huron Hospital, Braemar Nursing Home, Kingsway Lodge and Queensway Nursing Home.
Grey-Bruce Public Health logged 32 new cases today. There is 176 active cases with 6 residents hospitalized with the virus. There have been 30 deaths so far in Grey-Bruce resulting from contracting the virus. Outbreaks continue at Rockwood Terrace Long Term Care in Durham, Kelso Pines Retirement Home in Owen Sound, Maple Court Retirement Home in Walkerton and Grey Gables Long-Term Care in Markdale.
