Perth County OPP have charged three people following an investigation into a break-in at a local business.
On January 21st just after noon, police received a report of thefts that had occurred at a business on Wallace Avenue North in Listowel. The suspects stole numerous items from the business and left in a vehicle. Following an investigation police have arrested and charged a 45 and 50 year-old, both from Kitchener, along with a 28-year-old Waterloo native, with numerous charges including Theft Under $5000 – Shoplifting (two counts).
The two Kitchener natives were held pending a bail hearing, while the 28-year-old accused from Waterloo was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge against them.
