Parents of students who attend Princess Elizabeth Public School will see their children switch back to virtual learning from home again.
On Monday, the Thames Valley District School Board (TVDSB) announced the elementary school located in southeast London will be closed effective Tuesday due to operational concerns related to staffing.
“Classroom teachers will contact families to coordinate synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities,” read a statement from the school board.
Students within the London-area returned to in-person learning last Monday, two weeks later than originally scheduled following the winter break. At the start of the month, the province made the decision to have students return to virtual learning instead, as COVID-19 case numbers soared.
Princess Elizabeth P.S. is expected to open for in-person learning again on Monday, January 31.
