The pandemic is dragging on and putting a strain on our collective mental health.
Local mental health experts are reminding people that if you don’t know where to turn for support, 211 can help.
Jackie Ralph with the Canadian Mental Health Association Grey Bruce says the quick changes to lockdown is hard on everyone.
“Sometimes we get very little time to get ready and switch things around,” said Ralph. “And other times I think about the opposite…if I’ve had too much time to plan this it can affect me so we all get affected by things differently and absolutely we have had all the feels in the last little while.”
Statistics from the CMHA Grey Bruce show a 49 per cent increase in the number of people served last year.
