London police say five people face charges after officer seized nearly $150,000 worth of fentanyl in a series of raids this week.
According to police, officers with the Guns and Gangs Section and Emergency Response Unit searched addresses on King Street, Belmont Drive, and Commissioners Road on Thursday.
Police say they seized 743 grams of fentantyl worth $148,600. They also seized $2,650 worth of crack cocaine and $8,000 in cash.
A 29-year-old man, a 36-year-old man, a 39-year-old woman, a 60-year-old man, and an 18-year-old man are charged with possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.
