Saugeen Shores town staff came to council with a report regarding the Site Works and Servicing Agreement of the Cedar Crescent Village.
Mayor, Luke Charbonneau, says the report included the site layout and what the project might look like.
“Council discussed it and decided to approve that recommendation. Our intention is to see the project get under construction, so it’ll go in a couple of weeks to our next council meeting for final approval and that should allow the project to proceed.”
“All of the relevant regulations will be adhered to. Once that work is done, and it’s pretty standard work, we’ll be into construction and hopefully we’ll see the project finally completed in 2023,” added Charbonneau.
He adds this project has garnered the most feedback from the community than anything else during his time on council. Ultimately, he says this will be a very positive development for the beach and is excited to see it come to fruition.
