Stratford Police are investigating after one of the fields at the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in St. Marys was damaged.
The incident was reported Saturday after staff arrived at the Hall of Fame and found that a vehicle had driven over King’s Field, located right beside the museum.
Police arrived and confirmed that the damage was most likely done by a larger pick-up truck with heavy tread tires. And investigators say it appears the damage was done when the vehicle drove at a high rate of speed in a circular pattern.
Stratford Police are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to call them at 519-271-4141 or to contact Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
