London fire officials say no one was hurt after fire broke out in the basement of an east-end home on Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called to the home on Oxford Street just west of Highbury Avenue just after 10 a.m.
“Fire crews have made quick work of a dry/basement fire on Oxford,” the London Fire Department said on Twitter.
Oxford Street was temporarily closed while crews battled the blaze and vented smoke out of the house.
A damage estimate and a suspected cause of the fire have not been released.
