Wellington Dufferin Guelph Public Health reports 18 residents hospitalized with COVID-19. 48 new cases of the virus were added in Wellington County Friday.
Huron Perth Public Health added 65 new cases Friday, and reported six hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
The Grey Bruce Health Unit added 53 new cases of COVID-19 across the region Friday. Six residents are in hospital with the virus.
Across Ontario, the province reports a record 2,472 patients in hospital with COVID-19. 338 of the hospitalized patients are in intensive care units, and 232 are either not fully vaccinated or won’t say.
