Happy New Year 2022 to all our friends and families near and far. With all the restrictions and precautions for everyone it has certainly been a different holiday season. The huge bonus was the clear roads and good weather. I for one really appreciated the ease of traveling and I know many others were thankful too. Some of our folks were able to gather with their family for the first time in a long time. It made the memories more precious. Such fun too to see the changes in the youngsters. We are thankful that they grow and mature. How blessed we are to live in a rural area where our neighbours are usually friends. In this era of technology no one seems too far away. AND – oh my all the wonderful light displays on homes and businesses. Thanks everyone for the extra effort that was put into the light displays.Read More
Fran and Jim Farrell visited with their daughter Christina and her sons Tyson and Cooper. They are living in the Winnipeg area. For all of us with friends and relatives in the West we pray that they are able to survive the drastic cold snap. On the other side of the coin we send our sympathy to Denise Eden and all the family of Pat Norman. Sympathy is sent to Clarence Ackert and family on the death of his wife Shirley. Lois Craig is going to be missed by her family and and friends. She was one of a kind – a blessing to so many in the area.Purple Grove News
