The proposed police budget contains gadgets, hardware and personnel that reads more like a list of resources being sent to help Ukraine. London is not a war zone. The police board chair has said we are all living in fear and this increase in police resources will make us safer. Exploiting fear has always been a successful tool in police budget negotiations to justify egregious increases to our property taxes at the expense of other necessary programs. Read More
