On June 1 at 7:30 p.m., the band will be performing a cabaret-style concert at Goderich District collegiate institute. Besides several pieces performed by the entire band, the concert will also feature smaller ensembles. Admission, which includes a snack and beverage, is $20 for adults and $5 for children aged 10 and younger. All proceeds go toward the band’s operations.

Every Sunday night from June 30 until the end of summer (with the exception of Aug. 11), the Laketown Band will be hosting concerts in Harbour Park, featuring musicians and concert bands from throughout Southwestern Ontario. These outdoor concerts have been part of the community for more than 40 years, and are an opportunity to enjoy the long summer evenings with family, friends and neighbours. Pets are welcome. Bring your lawn chair or a picnic blanket. The concerts are free, but goodwill donations are accepted.

If you find yourself in the Seaforth area on Monday, July 8, the band will be playing outside at the Van Egmond House in Egmondville. Relax on the lawn while you listen to the performance. Again, there is no cost to attend but a good-will donation will be collected.

On Wednesday, July 24, you can find the band performing at the quaint pavilion in Kincardine, right down by the water. Listen to the free performance while enjoying one of Lake Huron’s beautiful sunsets.
