Huron County OPP have closed a section of a local roadway following a two-vehicle crash.

Police confirmed on Twitter just before 4 p.m. on April 27 that a section of Huron Road Highway 8 at Holmesville is closed due to a two-vehicle collision. Several vehicle occupants have been transported to a local hospital with injuries. Traffic is being re-routed on Holmes Street through Holmesville.

The OPP are asking drivers to avoid the area and follow the detour. More updates as they are made available.
