Multi-vehicle crash sends five to hospital

Police say four vehicles were involved in an east London collision that left three adults and two children hospitalized, some with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews were called to Dundas Street and Highbury Avenue North around 11:30 a.m.

Of the five victims, two are reportedly in life-threatening condition while the other three suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Highbury Avenue North remains closed in all directions between Oxford Street East and Dundas Street.

Dundas Street is open to traffic in both directions.

“The investigations is in its preliminary stages and more information will be provided when available,” said a statement from the London Police Service (LPS).
