Highway 21 crash victim airlifted with serious injuries

South Bruce OPP have released details of a collision that closed a major highway in Bruce County.

Police said a motorist was airlifted to a Toronto are hospital with serious injures after a crash on Highway 21 in Bruce Township.

OPP officers, firefighters and paramedics responded to the collision between a passenger vehicle and a propane truck about 12:45 p.m. on January 27 north of Underwood.

The vehicle driver was extricated by members of Kincardine Fire and Emergency Services. They were taken to a local hospital by paramedics and then airlifted to Toronto.

The South Bruce OPP and the OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team are still investigating.

Highway 21 was closed between Concession 8 and Concession 10 for most of the afternoon.
