Saugeen Shores police have laid a drunk driving charge after they received a tip from a local establishment.
Police were advised that a man had left the establishment at about 11:40 p.m. Wednesday. He allegedly left in a vehicle after several attempts by staff at the establishment to convince the man to call a taxi.
Police located the male driver and quickly determined that he was impaired. He was transported to the station for Breath Testing.
The 64-year-old man from Saugeen Shores has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80+). His licence has been suspended and his vehicle was impounded.
