Ontario Provincial Police confirm they are investigating a suspicious death in the town of Collingwood.
According to a release, officers responded to a death in the Georgian Meadows subdivision just after 8 o’clock this morning.
Upon arrival, a deceased female was located inside a residence.
Police say they will provide more information once details become available, but there is not believed to be a risk to public safety, and investigators do not consider this to be a random incident.
