Police investigating school break-in, bomb threat

Police are investigating after a break-in and bomb threat at a Christian school in St. Thomas.

According to the St. Thomas Police Service, it happened sometime between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 7 a.m. Thursday at the St. Thomas Community Christian School at 77 Fairview Avenue.

Police say several rooms were entered and a note was left, suggesting that a bomb had been hidden in the school. That prompted a search of the school by explosive detecting dogs from the London Police Service. No bomb was found.

There was also some damage done inside the school and a bluetooth speaker was stolen.

Anyone with information is asked to call St. Thomas police or Crime Stoppers.
