A London man is facing more than 50 theft-related charges after months of investigation into more than 30 incidents, city police say.
London police say that between July and last week, a man went to retail stores, grocery stores, and pharmacies in the city, where he took products from shelves without paying for them.
There were 36 incidents that police investigated over that timeframe that all involved the same suspect, police said. Video surveillance and photos showed it was the same person, police said.

More than $70,000 worth of items were stolen, police say.
Following an investigation, police were able to identify a man as the suspect, but he was not located and an arrest warrant was obtained, police said. On Oct. 25, last Friday, police say a man was arrested in the east end of London.
A 35-year-old London man, Shawn Joseph Delmage, faces the following charges:
- 31 counts of theft under $5,000
- five counts of theft over $5,000
- 17 counts of failing to comply with a release order
The accused remains in custody and was expected to re-appear in London court Wednesday in relation to the charges.

Man, 23, charged after indecent act on school property
A 23-year-old man is charged with committing an indecent act on the property of Queen Elizabeth II elementary school in Chatham, police say.
On Oct. 22, a man was caught committing an indecent act on the school property at 79 Eugenie St., Chatham-Kent police said. The acts were performed on multiple occasions while the school was closed and no children were present.
The accused was arrested and held in custody for a bail hearing
