Speed bump slows rollout of free London Transit passes for high schoolers

The rollout of a pilot project that would give London Transit bus passes to Grade 9 and 10 students at one city high school has hit a temporary roadblock, a Thames Valley District school board official says.

Cathy Lynd, the board’s superintendent of business, told trustees on Tuesday night that London city hall staff recommend the project at Clarke Road secondary school be deferred until September 2025 “given the time and resources required to develop the program as well as other considerations.”
