A 52-year-old London woman is charged after police say drivers reported having a gun pointed at them while travelling near downtown.
London police say they were contacted at about 7 p.m. on Monday and told a woman was pointing a handgun near Wellington and Horton streets, just south of the core.
One person was arrested and a replica gun was seized, police said.

A woman is charged with possession of a weapon and using an imitation firearm in commission of a crime, police said. She was released from custody and is scheduled to next appear in court on Aug. 21.
Teen charged after items stolen from downtown vendor
A 17-year-old London youth is charged after police say a vendor was robbed downtown.
Police say it was Sunday when a group of youths were at a downtown event at Wellington Street and Dufferin Avenue and property was taken from a vendor. Police say the vendor confronted them and one person in the group flashed a knife.
Police were called and a suspect was arrested nearby. A knife was seized by police, who declined to specify whether or not the incident happened at Sunfest.
The teenager, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000 and possession of a weapon. The accused is expected to appear in London court on Aug. 12.
The stolen property was recovered, police said, adding there were no injuries.
Londoner charged after driver found asleep behind wheel at intersection

A Londoner is facing charges after St. Thomas police found a driver asleep at the wheel in an idling vehicle in the middle of an intersection.
St. Thomas police say that officers were called to the north end of the city, where they located the vehicle, and after investigation say they had grounds to believe the driver was impaired.
The driver was arrested and brought to police headquarters, where a drug recognition expert determined them to be impaired by drugs, police say.
A 38-year-old London resident is charged with impaired driving and possession of cocaine, and has been released on an undertaking with a future court date.
Fire hits marijuana-growing facility
London firefighters battled a Monday night blaze at a marijuana-growing facility east of the city.
It was about 8:30 p.m. on Monday when fire officials announced crews were called to the blaze at a “cannabis growing facility” on Evelyn Drive in the community of Thorndale. CTV London identified the business as JC Green Cannabis.
London firefighters worked alongside volunteer firefighters from Thames Centre to stop the blaze, calling it “a great example of how two mutual aid neighbours can work so well together.”
