Grateful for care
I am writing to express my gratitude for the exceptional care and support I received from the cancer care team during my radiation therapy at LHSC. When I began my treatment, I was filled with fear and uncertainty, but this team provided a beacon of hope and reassurance from the very first interaction.
Their knowledge and expertise instilled confidence in the treatment process. Each team member demonstrated professionalism and dedication, ensuring I was informed and comfortable every step of the way. Their thorough explanations, patience in addressing my concerns, and consistent encouragement made a world of difference.

Beyond the technical aspects, the compassionate care truly stood out. The warmth, empathy, and genuine concern for my well-being made me feel supported not just as a patient, but as a person. They created an environment where I felt safe and cared for, which was incredibly comforting during such a challenging time.
I am deeply grateful for their unwavering support and exceptional care. They have made a lasting impact on my life.

Workers appreciated
Summer is also construction season in Ontario, and that holds true in St. Thomas.
Instead, I would like to celebrate the incredible kindness and courtesy being demonstrated by the GHN Group crew working on the water system upgrades on Meehan Street. These employees have gone the extra mile to ensure residents can access their driveways. They have engaged in conversation with the neighbours and have taken the time to help those who needed assistance to cross the uneven road surface. During the recent heat wave, one of the workers visited a senior couple on the street as a wellness check.
Kudos to site leader, Brayden, and his GHN crew on Meehan Street.
