A two-vehicle crash south of London on Sunday involved six people, one of whom suffered life-threatening injuries, Ontario Provincial Police say.
It was about 2:30 p.m. Sunday when two vehicles collided near the intersection of Talbot Line and Ron McNeil Line, in the Township of Southwold, police say. The rural intersection is located just east of Talbotville.

One vehicle had two people in it and the other was carrying four, police said. Two were taken to hospital, one with non-life-threatening injuries and the other with life-threatening injuries. The other four suffered injuries that didn’t require hospitalization.
The investigation was ongoing, Ontario Provincial Police said. Elgin OPP officers, Southwold Fire Department firefighters and Elgin-St. Thomas paramedics responded to the crash. Anyone with information is asked to call Ontario Provincial Police at 1-888-310-1122.
This marks the second crash in rural Southwestern Ontario in the past week that resulted in injuries to multiple people.
On June 6, last Thursday, one person was killed and four others hurt in a collision in Norfolk County. The crash happened at about 7 p.m. at the intersection of Windham East Quarter Line and Windham Road 9, just west of the town of Waterford.
One person died at the scene while four others were taken to Norfolk General Hospital. Police say those people were conscious at the time. “A passenger was ejected from one of the vehicles during the collision,” said OPP Const. Jonathan Bueckert.
Two air ambulances were dispatched to take the injured people to hospital, police said, adding Norfolk firefighters and paramedics also attended the scene.
