Jr. B N’STARS GO BACK-TO-BACK
The Owen Sound North Stars (8-7) climbed out of the basement in the Ontario Junior B Lacrosse League’s Mid-West Division with a pair of wins over the weekend. Carter Moran netted four goals and added three assists as the N’Stars topped the Windsor Clippers 14-3 at the Bayshore in Owen Sound Saturday night. On Sunday, Jordan Cochrane led the way with three goals while Moran had another seven-point game (one goal, six assists) as the N’Stars beat the Blue Devils 11-3 at the Bayshore. The North Stars will look to remain in the win column Saturday when they host the Six Nations Rebels at the Bayshore, with game time set for 2 p.m. The North Stars will host Wallaceburg on Sunday at 2 p.m. in Owen Sound.
