Thousands of Londoners turned out Friday night for the Lighting of the Lights in Victoria Park. The annual start to the Christmas season featured a performance by The Rockin’ Reindeer and participation by London firefighters. The family of London firefighter Chris Bruinink, who died Nov. 13, flipped the switch to turn on the 75,000 lights in the park, and fire trucks parked around the park turned on their flashing lights. The lights will turned on nightly from 5 to 11 p.m. until the end of February. Photos by Mike Hensen Read More
