I recently built a new fence. You can ask your neighbour to share the cost of a new fence, with varying results. In my case, my neighbor is my municipality, Strathroy-Caradoc. My property adjoins a park. A few weeks after I had the fence built, my neighbour across the street suggested I ask Strathroy-Caradoc to share the cost of our new fence.
