Two people have been charged with drug-related offenses after a crash that shut down a section of Adelaide Street North for hours on Thursday.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Adelaide near Wallace Street after two vehicles collided around 11 a.m., London police said.
Five people were taken to hospital by paramedics. The fire department was needed to perform vehicle extrication.

While investigating the crash, police said drugs were found inside one of the involved vehicles. A 33-year-old man and 28-year-old woman were subsequently arrested, each being charged for possession of drugs. The man is also accused of impaired driving.
The accused are scheduled to appear in London court on July 28 to speak to the charges.
