Two people face charges after searches in Brockton lead to the seizure of thousands of dollars worth of drugs and stolen property.
On May 10, police searched homes on Alma Street and Sideroad 15 and seized $18,136 in drugs and $7,065 in offence related property. The drugs included oxycodone, methamphetamine, cocaine, and magic mushrooms. Officers also seized a cross bow, and a 12-gauge shot gun, as well as other contraband.
Two men, both from Brockton, are now charged in relation to the investigation.
A 26-year old is facing the following charges:
Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited device, careless storage of a firearm, weapon, prohibited device, ammunition, and failure to comply with undertaking – three counts
A 54-year old man is also facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, failure to comply with release order , and possession of a firearm or ammunition while prohibited.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers.
