Dispute between neighbours ends with assault charge

It appears there is no love lost between a pair of neighbours in St. Thomas.

St. Thomas police were called to a home in the north end of the city Thursday after neighbours got into a heated dispute.

The situation escalated with one allegedly assaulting the other.

Injuries were minor.

A 37-year-old resident was arrested and has since been charged with assault and mischief. That individual has been released from police custody with a future court date.

Police did not specify what led to the mischief charge being laid.
