North Huron Aquatic Centre closes unexpectedly for repairs

The pool at the North Huron Wecast Community Complex will be closed until further notice for “unscheduled maintenance,” according to the North Huron Recreation Department.

A statement was issued Thursday advising of the closure. It is expected to last for two or three weeks.

“An update will be provided closer to that time,” the statement said. “Please check our social media, website, radio, and phone messages for updates.”

The reason for the closure was not immediately available. CKNX News Today has reached out to the town Aquatics Director for more information.

North Huron Recreation Department apologized for the service disruption.
