Students at Sir John A. Macdonald Public School in London will be learning from home Tuesday.
The Thames Valley District School Board announced just after 6:30 a.m. it would be keeping the school closed for the day due to an issue with the building’s heating system.
“The safety of all students, staff, and community members is a priority,” the board said in a statement about the closure.
Students stuck at home for the day can instead spend the time completing independent learning activities through their classroom’s digital platform.
The board did not state when the school’s heating system would be fixed.
