Two charged as police search for third suspect in downtown shooting

London police say they’re searching for a suspect they consider to be dangerous following a shooting in the downtown core.

The shooting happened on April 23 near the intersection of Oxford and Richmond  and left two people with non-life threatening injuries.

The shooting happened around 2:45 on a Sunday morning. Witnesses called 911 when they heard gun shots and when officers arrived they found evidence multiple shots had been fired, with bullet casings laying around and a number of vehicles and businesses in the area hit.

A preliminary investigation determined that numerous people were engaged in a disturbance in and around several parking lots east of Richmond, between Oxford and Piccadilly streets when the gunfire rang out. Blood was seen on the pavement, but officers were initially unable to locate any victims.

Shortly after, police were notified about two people suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds who had been dropped off at hospital separately.

Officers appealed to the public for information about the incident and now they’ve charged three suspects.

Koch Agok, 21, faces a charge of attempted murder. Police also allege he had drugs and a loaded gun in his possession and he faces a total of 20 additional charges, including:

– Aggravated assault;

– Discharge a firearm with intent to wound;

– Two counts of possess restricted or prohibited firearm with no license;

– Two counts of possess prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition;

– Carry concealed weapon;

– Three counts of unauthorized possession of prohibited or restricted weapon or prohibited device;

– Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm;

– Six counts of fail to comply with release order;

– Possession of a schedule I substance; and

– Two counts of possession schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.

The second person who has been arrested is Riley McIntyre, 20, of London. He’s also charged with attempted murder, as well as:

– Aggravated assault

– Discharge a firearm with intent to wound;

– Possess restricted or prohibited firearm with no license;

– Possess prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition;

– Fail to comply with release order.

One suspect has been charged by the way of warrant and police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

Shyheim Clerzuis, 21, is described as a black male, approximately 5’ 10”, 150 lbs, slim build, with black/blonde hair with a goatee and brown eyes.

If you see Clerzius, you’re asked not to approach him and call 9-1-1 immediately.

Agok and McIntyre will appear in court later this week.
