SPORTS BRIEFS: OHL U18 Draft, Barlow scores, Pats win

OHL HOLDS U18 DRAFT WEDNESDAY
No fewer than 40 players born in 2005 and 2006 will have their names called in the seventh annual Ontario Hockey League under-18 Priority Selection draft Wednesday Night. The concept for the OHL Under-18 Priority Selection was developed in 2017 with support from Hockey Canada’s three Ontario branches including the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF), Hockey Eastern Ontario (HEO), and Hockey Northwestern Ontario (HNO), to assist in the growth of U18 AAA hockey and provide further opportunities for players at different stages of their hockey development. The Owen Sound Attack have enjoyed success in finding players in the “second-chance” draft, with Logan LeSage and Griffin Wilson both suiting up for the club.
