The West Lorne Arena has come out on top of a nationwide competition that offers some very exciting prizes.
As the Kraft Hockeyville champions, West Lorne will soon have the opportunity to host an NHL Pre-Season game.
The arena will also get a facelift with $250,000 worth of upgrades.
Results from the online vote were announced Saturday night.

West Lorne went up against communities from Manitoba, British Columbia, and Quebec to compete for the grand prize. The runners-up will each receive $25,000 to renovate their home rinks.
Kraft Hockeyville is a contest in which success depends entirely on community support. Residents of West Lorne and surrounding areas rallied around the cause through every step of the competition.
The local arena secured their place in the top four after getting more than 830 messages of support from the public. Notable hockey figures like Bo Horvat even chimed in to voice their support for West Lorne. On Friday and Saturday, the winner was determined through a Canada-wide online vote.
All in all, West Lorne garnered more community support than any other team in the contest.
