Structural issues have led to the closure of a bridge in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

Church Sideroad Bridge, located on Church Sideroad West at Sarawak Keppel Townline, has been closed until further notice due to safety concerns.

The township reports that deterioration has been identified on the bridge’s abutments and wing walls, rendering it unsafe for use. The next step is for a structural engineer to examine the bridge and provide further direction.

The township apologizes for the inconvenience and asks residents for patience as staff works to ensure safety on their road network.
