Three London residents are facing charges after a police investigation led to the seizure of two guns, over nine rounds of ammunition, and a stash of drugs valued at more than $100,000.
The London Police Service said members of their Uniformed Division and the Guns and Gangs Section were involved in the investigation at a Terrence Street residence on Thursday.
Officers reportedly seized 487 grams of fentanyl, 341 Dilaudid pills, 34 Temazapam pills, and six grams of crystal methamphetamine from the scene. Police said the total value was estimated at $104,020.
Two handguns – one of which was loaded – and several rounds of ammo were also seized, according to police.
As a result of the investigation, three men are now facing drug trafficking charges, as well as two counts each of unauthorized possession and careless storage of a firearm.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with possession of a schedule I substance and eight counts of possessing a firearm while prohibited.
Two other suspects, each 37-years-old, are also facing individual charges. One of the accused is charged with 10 counts of possessing a firearm while prohibited, while the other is facing two counts of the same charge.
Additionally, the final suspect is charged with failing to comply with a release order.
