London police are investigating a three-vehicle crash in the city’s northwest end Monday afternoon.
According to officials with the London Fire Department, emergency crews were called to the intersection of Hyde Park Road at Fitzwilliam Boulevard/Prince Philip Drive sometime around 3 p.m. for a three-vehicle crash.
Crews arrived and found one of the involved vehicles on its side. Firefighters had to cut the roof off that vehicle to free the passenger. It is not clear how many occupants are involved, although at least one person was transported to hospital by paramedics. The extent of their injuries is not available.
Officers have closed Hyde Park Road between Fitzwilliam Boulevard and Royal York Road while the crash is investigated and cleared.
The public is asked to avoid the area.
