The Huron-Perth Catholic District School Board has re-elected their chair of the board to a third term.
Mary Helen Van Loon has been trustee for Perth South, St. Marys, and West Perth since 2017.
She promised the board will remain focused on making progress for students, “despite challenges and difficulties we face as a Board, and as a system”.
Additionally, at the Inaugural Board Meeting, Amy Cronin was elected to the position of Vice-Chair. Beginning her service to the Board as a Trustee in 2010, Cronin represents the areas of Huron East, Perth East, and North Perth.
