A Londoner is facing trafficking charges after police found thousands of dollars worth of illegal drugs inside of a vehicle stopped for doing twice the speed limit in Thorndale.

A Middlesex County OPP officer clocked a vehicle travelling at more than 100 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone on King Street at 3 p.m. last Thursday. The officer pulled the vehicle over and through further investigation found methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine inside.

The estimated value of the drugs seized is just under $130,000, police said.

A 29-year-old Londoner is charged with stunt driving and three counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
