The OPP Canines are out with a new calendar.

In a release, provincial police say their canine units “took a paws (sic) in fighting crime to strike a pose.”

The release says for more than 50 years handlers and their canines have been providing assistance with search and rescue, tracking wanted persons, drug detection, and searching for firearms, explosives, and physical evidence.

The calendar features 24 photos of police dogs from across the province showing off their specialty.

All proceeds go to the OPP Youth Foundation and the Friends of the OPP Museum. They are $15  each and can be bought at the OPP Off Duty Shop.
