St. Thomas landlord charged with sexual assault of tenant

An investigation into a St. Thomas landlord accused of making “unwanted advances” toward a female tenant has resulted in sexual assault charges.

St. Thomas police received a complaint about the landlord’s behaviour last Thursday. No other details about the accusations were released.

Following an investigation, a 51-year-old St. Thomas man was arrested without incident.

He has since been charged with sexual assault, voyeurism, and sexual exploitation.

The man has been released with a future court date.
