OPP identify drowning victim

A man from BurlingtonĀ has been identified as the individual who drowned in Lake Huron this week.

Robert Klingbeil, 50, was pulled from the water just before 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29.

Emergency personnelĀ tried to resuscitate the victim but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Grey Bruce OPP are continuing to investigate with the assistance of the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement team.
