A fatal pedestrian crash has closed several roads just east of Innerkip Friday evening while police investigate.
The crash happened sometime before 6:30 p.m., according to a tweet posted by the West Regional Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
Police say a person was struck by a dump truck along Oxford County Road 29 in Blandford-Blenheim Township and has since died from their injuries.
Few details have been released as the investigation is still in the early stages.
County Road 29 remains closed as of 7 p.m. Friday between Oxford County Road 22 and Blandford Road and Township Roads 6 and 8.
