London police say one person was hurt, and one was taken into custody during an incident in the city’s east end Thursday afternoon.

According to a tweet, officers responded to the area of Highbury Avenue and Huron Street sometime before 2:30 p.m. for a weapons investigation. Police confirmed that one person was taken into custody as a result.

During the ordeal, one person suffered minor injuries.

Police say there is no threat to public safety, and the investigation is ongoing.
