Goderich Mayor John Grace says council is still working on a policy for short-term rentals in the town.
Grace says they’re still processing the information they collected at a virtual public meeting on February 22nd.
He hopes they’ll be ready to introduce a policy at their next council meeting.
“We’re not there yet, but we will be there, I’m sure, on the 21st. There’s still some discussions that need to happen and I really think that we’re going to get it right. There’ll be a couple of tweaks and we’ll have it.”
Grace says, it’s a very hot topic in the town and some strong opinions on both sides of the issue, so it’s critical they do get it right.
