Suspect charged following thefts from businesses

A North Perth resident has been charged following recent thefts from local businesses.

On February 6th, officers were called to a local businessĀ on Mitchell Road South in Listowel after a suspect was seen shoplifting. Police determined during the investigation that the individual had allegedly shoplifted from the same business two previous times. A 36-year-old North Perth resident was arrested and charged with three counts of Theft Under $5,000.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charges.
