Three people have been arrested in connection with the overnight theft of a school bus in northeast London.
The theft was reported to London police around 8 a.m. on Tuesday.
Officers spotted the stolen school vehicle in the west end of the city soon after. According to police, three people ran from the bus when it came to a stop in the area of Guildwood Boulevard and Richmeadow Road.
The police canine unit was brought in to help search the area and arrested two men. A third suspect was taken into custody by the police uniform division.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
