The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has announced that this year’s muskellunge, or muskie, fishing season for Great Lakes waters — which include Lake Erie, the Upper Niagara River, the Lower Niagara River, Lake Ontario, the St. Lawrence River and tributaries to these waters — will begin on June 15.
