New trails coming after U.P. watershed group links thousands of acres along Keweenaw’s Lake Superior, river shorelines

The Superior Watershed Partnership and Land Conservancy has bought over 200 acres of land along Lake Superior and the Gratiot River in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to link five conservation areas in a large, contiguous block.
