Kincardine Council spends long day in budget deliberations

Kincardine Council spent last Monday discussing the proposed budget. The draft capital budget that
was approved will see a tax rate increase of 6.42%, with a blended tax rate that includes estimates for education and county taxes of 5.5%. Community groups presented their requests to council, including Kincardine Community Health Care Foundation (KCHCF) and Kincardine Lions. (By Liz Small)
